Web Excursions are select bookmarks from my travels around the interwebs, because I'm always thinking about you
while discovering other people's cool stuff. You mean that much to me. You can see all of my (public) bookmarks
on my LinkDing, and visit the bookmarks archive for curated lists across the last few years.
Web excursions brought to you in partnership with CleanMyMac X, all the tools to speed up your Mac, in one app.
This looks really handy, especially for zine publishers. Stops you from fighting with page layout and orientation to get foldable printed booklets from your PDF.
Try before you buy with a one-time in-app purchase.
An iPhone app that lets you LiDAR-scan a real object or generate a shape from an AI text prompt, then automatically cleans it into a print-ready 3D file (STL, 3MF, OBJ, GLB, USDZ).
Lately I have found myself dealing with more and more terminal sessions on my Mac. These were not just sessions where I had specific areas of work open. These were long running processes. Local website servers. Local LLM servers. Processes to serve dashboards and apps. [While gathering them into multiple tabs on one Terminal window helped, I would end up on that window when I didn’t need to be. […] I began having trouble finding the right tab, and even came close more than once to killing processes that I wanted to keep running. [This was quickly becoming a problem rather than simply an occasional inconvenience. I looked for a solution, but did not find anything that quite matched my need. […] This then became an opportunity to build something to help me manage these sessions, and so the idea for Sentinel began to emerge.
