How to Pitch Apps to TidBITS in the AI Era

AI has made it vastly easier to build apps and pitch them to publications like TidBITS for review. But we don’t have the time or brain space to look at everything, so here’s how developers can improve their chances of catching our attention.

Some good tips for pitching to any publication, including mine. I’m on both sides of this, fielding pitches daily that were clearly written by AI, and also trying to leverage AI to do my own marketing. TL;DR: don’t rely on AI to do your marketing, send well-researched, personalized, and thoughtful pitches.
