Links of interest from April 20, 2012 through April 24, 2012:
- Putting the roar in file management – the new ForkLift 2.5
- The Path Finder 6 release piqued my interest, but Forklift has added a lot of cool new stuff, too. TotalFinder may still be my top choice, but if you’re looking for something more powerful, check this out.
- Searching nvALT with LaunchBar
- In case you’re not familiar with the url syntax added by Zachary and also found in nvALT (as nvalt://), it can be used for integration with LaunchBar, Quicksilver and Alfred. MacSparky gets the ball rolling here.
- Beckism.com: Learning to code
- I get this question a lot, and I never know what to say. From now on, I’m sending people here when they ask me how to get started with programming.
- Trunk Notes for Mac
- I’m a little late seeing this, but it’s exciting. I’m ecstatic about the VoodooPad 5 release, but desktop wikis for Mac is an under-populated arena and I absolutely love the iOS version of Trunk Notes. (via @tombarys)
- Visualizing iOS Text Editors
- Kieran Healy takes iTextEditors to a new level with some R visualization.
